Is there a warranty on the Synthetic Grass?
Yes. True Green Grass offers a 12 year warranty
on the synthetic grass and an 8 year warranty on putting green turf. This covers
any natural defects such as fading, tearing, etc. It does not cover damage from
a pet or reflective burn.
How much does it cost?
Our grass is sold by the sq ft. + installation.
We will gladly provide a free consultation with a written estimate to help you
understand all of your costs up-front. Typically 1,000 Sq Ft of Synthetic Grass
will pay for itself after 1-2 years! Currently we are installing grass for as
low as $4.50 a sq ft (including all material!).
How do I know how much square footage I need?
To calculate your square footage simply multiply
the length and width of your area. For example, If you would like your grass to
be 15 ft x 40ft you would need 600 sq ft total. If the grass area is an
irregular shape you would measure from the largest point.
Can I install the artificial grass myself?
Yes. If you choose to install it yourself we will
gladly provide you with instructions and helpful tips. You are welcome to
contact us at any time if you have any questions regarding the process.
Does the synthetic grass get hot? Will it fade with the AZ sun?
In the peak of the Arizona summer it may get too
hot to walk on but typically it is too hot to be outside playing on at that
point. You may spray down the grass with a hose and it will help cool it off.
Our warranty will protect against fading for 12 years (8 years on putting green
How does water drain? Can my kids play with a sprinkler on it?
True Green Grass provides grass that is
manufactured with backing that is specifically designed to allow water to drain
much like natural grass. There are drain holes every 4 inches to help water
drain into the ground. Sprinklers are very safe for the kids in the summer!
Is synthetic grass safe for my children and pets?
Yes. The CPSC (Consume Product Safety Commission)
recently tested installed grass from 10 - 1 year old. The evaluation concluded
that young children are not at risk from exposure to lead in these fields. You
can read their entire report here: www.cpsc.gov
How do I clean up after my pet if they use the restroom on the grass?
You simply scoop the poop as you normally would
on natural grass. You can spray the artificial grass off to remove the pet
urine. Over time you may begin to smell an odor which can easily be removed with
an enzyme remover (sold at home depot, lowes, etc.), a mix of vinegar & water,
or a mix of bleach & water. We always leave a small scrap of grass for you to
test before spraying on the grass. The frequency that you need to spray would
depend on the size of the pet, the number of pets, and how often they use it.
What is the synthetic grass made of? Is it different then "Astro Turf" or the
rolls of patio carpet?
Our synthetic grass is made of Polyethylene. This
is a very durable plastic that we use in many other products (such as water
pipes, Tupperware, and toys). Polyethylene is non-toxic and eco-friendly. The
traditional "Astro Turf" is made of nylon and looks very fake. The grass from
True Green Grass is VERY realistic and is hard to distinguish from natural
Will my synthetic grass require any maintenance?

outdoor broom, or rake to remove yard debris. But other then that your grass
will not require ANY work!
Is the grass eco-friendly?
Yes. You will no longer need to purchase
chemicals and you will dramatically reduce your monthly water consumption.
